Watercolor: Cthulhu Rising

On Twitter I mentioned that I had been painting beach scenery for the past two days. I don't normally do landscapes, so they are not my area of expertise (I say that with a lighthearted chuckle)!

Cthulhu Rising

This picture originally looked so bland and dull, that I felt sleepy just looking at it. I didn't like it at all (probably because I am not used to doing landscapes). So I did what anyone would do and painted dear Cthulhu rising out of the water!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the painting now...
